John Hamilton was the son of James Hamilton and Sarah Lucor Hamilton. He was born in Pelham, Hampshire County, Massachusetts on 18 November 1860. At present we don’t have any record that he had brothers and sisters.
Marriage
John married Sarah Fleming, of Palmer, on 24 January 1789 at the age of 27 of age and Sarah was also 27.

Family Life
John and Sarah moved to Chester where they raised their children. In their old age, they moved to Middlefield where they lived with their son David and his wife Abigail.
Death
John passed on March 4th, 1847 and his wife Sarah Flemming Hamilton passed a month earlier on Feb 8th 1847. They were both 87 years of age.
Both John and Sarah are buried in Middlefield, next to their son, David. They are also buried next to David’s in-laws, Philip and Abigail Leland Meacham.
